NHS SBS is looking to build their Contract Management offering within the Commercial Consultancy side of the business. We are seeking a highly organized and diligent Contract Management Support Officer to join the Commercial Consulting team at NHS SBS. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of contract management processes by supporting documentation, system accuracy, and cross-team coordination.
This is an \”expression of interest\” advert. Although we do not currently have live roles, they are upcoming, and we are looking to start discussions now. You will help maintain compliance and operational efficiency across contract lifecycles by updating systems, managing key documentation, and coordinating meetings. You will support large-scale projects using platforms such as CEMAR and Primavera P6.
As part of the Commercial Consulting team, you will contribute to tailoring recommendations to client needs, facilitating decision-making, and encouraging expertise within specific markets or consulting areas. A strong commitment to knowledge sharing and skill development within the team is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate contract records, logs, and audit trails in accordance with public sector and NHS SBS standards.
- Inputting, tracking, and maintaining contract data in digital platforms, including CEMAR and document management systems.
- Scheduling and supporting contract meetings, taking minutes, tracking action items, and ensuring follow-up.
- Supporting communication and coordination between contract managers, project teams, and suppliers.
- Ensuring records, documentation, and contract variations are accurately maintained to support regulatory and audit requirements.
- Supporting contract tasks across multiple projects, including using Primavera P6 for timeline updates.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in an administrative or support role, preferably within a commercial, procurement, or project environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with CEMAR and Primavera P6.
- Strong prioritization skills across responsibilities and teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
Desirable:
- Experience working in or supporting NHS or public sector organizations.
