Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced PMLD Tutor who speaks either Russian or Ukrainian to work with a student with very complex needs in their home. The role involves actively teaching and developing the student\’s skills, not just support. The student is a Year 8 with PMLD and requires someone skilled in working with students with profound and complex needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Teaching students with complex PMLD needs
  • Engaging in sensory play and communication development
  • Handling physical disabilities, including mobility and independence challenges
  • Using augmentative communication methods
  • Providing personalized lessons to foster learning and development

The tutor will work alongside the student\’s parent, who will be present at all times. This role is suitable for experienced teachers and SEN tutors committed to making a positive impact on the student\’s learning journey.
