We are looking for a Shop Manager to lead our team in the Leigh-on-Sea Shop, you will be working in a creative environment, working with donated goods to maximise sales and net contribution.
You will make a real difference to young people in England by helping to raise the vital funds needed to support our frontline work. You will need to be driven and focused on making money, and have good communication skills both inside and outside the shop, reaching out to the local community to help build support for the shop.
As a Shop Manager you will manage 2 Assistant Shop Managers along with a team of diverse Volunteers, you will need great people skills and be confident at working with people from different backgrounds creating a welcoming and positive experience for all of our staff, volunteers and supporters.

The Children’s Society is currently undertaking a pay and grading review – this review is intended to improve our current approach; we are currently consulting with our recognised trade union and any changes are due to be implemented in April 2025.
