Alleyn\’s School, based in Dulwich, South London, seeks to appoint a Gardener to join the enthusiastic and professional support team.
The successful applicant will help maintain the school estate\’s gardens, ensuring it provides an excellent ‘first impression’ and is sector-leading in appearance and biodiversity.
The candidate should have a passion for horticulture, with good knowledge of plant care and seasonal garden maintenance. Responsibilities include planting, weeding, pruning, and ensuring the grounds are safe, attractive, and welcoming for students, visitors, and staff. A proactive attitude, teamwork skills, and a relevant horticultural qualification (Level 2) or equivalent experience are required.
This full-time position is available all year round. Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm in summer and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in winter.
The salary starts from £28,000 per annum, with potential for higher rates depending on experience and qualifications.
