Your new role
- Produce periodic management reports providing commentary and analysis on the actuals to guide the business.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from budget/forecast.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Analyse financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse financial data.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or soon to qualify)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience as an analyst or in a management accounting role
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
