Urgent Interim Management Accountant required for our fantastic client based in Birmingham.
You will be given exposure into the full month end process as well as the opportunity to be involved in commercial analysis and business partnering across the business.
The ideal candidate will be at least part qualified in ACCA or CIMA and have prior experience within a Management Accounts role. This role will require someone with initiative, a proactive approach to improving processes and the confidence to deal with stakeholders in various departments and at various levels.
Duties Include:
– Production of monthly management accounts
– Variance analysis and commentary
– Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
– Maintain the fixed asset register
– Processing and review of month end journals
– Support with the year end and audit process
– Support with budgeting and forecasting
– Sales analysis and reporting
– Business partner with finance and non finance staff
– Drive cost savings where appropriate
