The role

Seasonal Stock Assistants work at the core of our business & ensure our products are fresh and accessible. We need you to be passionate, motivated and enthusiastic about storing and organising our beautiful products. You need to be an excellent team player who is ready to hit the ground running to ensure our stock levels are maintained during our busiest time of the year.

You\’ll support with processing deliveries, and keeping an eye on stock rotation to reduce waste management. With in-depth training on our products and ingredients, you will be a Lush Ambassador representing our ethics and values to our customers, and play a crucial part in ensuring the ultimate experience for our customers, and offering the best customer experience at our busiest time of the year.

Hours available: 4 x 6 hours contracts

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing deliveries and stock management. (Early shifts)
  • Adherence to our freshness policy and stock rotation
  • Waste management
  • Maintaining high levels of organisation in the stockroom and back of house areas
  • Receiving and Unpacking Deliveries: Unloading deliveries, checking against packing slips, and reporting any discrepancies or damages.
  • Stock Organization: Sorting, organizing, and storing merchandise in the stockroom efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory counts, tracking stock levels, and alerting management to low stock.
  • Replenishing the Sales Floor: Bringing merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor, ensuring products are displayed neatly.
  • Restock shelves or picking areas
  • Maintaining Stockroom Cleanliness: Keeping the stockroom clean, organized, and safe.
  • Members of the stock team will also receive introductory product and customer experience training.

Skills and Experience

Teamwork: Capable of collaborating with team members to achieve store goals, and maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.

Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to work efficiently, collaborate with others, and ensure accurate and timely management of inventory.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, handle challenging situations, and work effectively under pressure.

Problem-solving: Skill in identifying and resolving any stock issues, finding appropriate solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Organisation: Aptitude for maintaining an organized back of house environment, managing inventory to supply accurately stock for all the packing lines.
