Job Description

As MBDA is growing in international exposure, this role was created to strengthen internal controls and align financial operations with anti-corruption standards such as UKBA, Sapin 2 and ISO 37001, with this exciting opportunity within the Group Compliance Directorate. Salary: Circa £46,000depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2 – 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

As MBDA is growing in international exposure, this role was created to strengthen internal controls and align financial operations with anti-corruption standards such as UKBA, Sapin 2 and ISO 37001.

Positioned within the Group Compliance department and working closely with Finance for financial controls and all other directorates for non-financial controls, the role ensures effective risk management and support the prevention of fraud of corruption across the entity.

The objective of this role is to bridge finance primarily (and as well as other directorates) and compliance in a complex and multinational environment. In essence, the objective of this role is to raise awareness and fostering an ethical culture across diverse or geographically dispersed teams

Please note, as this is a Group role, your Line Manager will be located in France, however we do have a UK Compliance team that you will work with day-to-day.

What we are looking for from you:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or equivalent
  • Additional certification in compliance or forensic audit (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFE, or similar) is a plus
  • Proven commercial experience within financial audit, internal control, or financial controlling roles
  • Previous exposure to compliance topics, particularly anti-corruption or fraud prevention, is strongly preferred
  • Experience in a multinational or regulated environment is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and investigative mindset.
  • Deep understanding of financial processes and internal controls.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
