We have an exciting permanent opportunity to join our Housing Options and Support Team as Team Leader – Homelessness Assessment and Case Management. The main responsibilities include planning and delivering an effective Homelessness Assessment and Case Management service. The post holder will oversee the team daily to ensure the delivery of a high-quality Homelessness/Housing Options service.
We are looking for someone with significant experience in Local Authority Housing Services, including Homelessness, Housing Options, and Housing Allocations. It is essential that the candidate has experience in reviewing and developing policies related to homelessness, allocations, and housing support. Additionally, experience in staff supervision is required.
Ideally, the successful candidate will also have knowledge of the Scottish Housing Regulator.
Depending on service needs, staff in hybrid roles may work from home up to 40% of the time, provided service delivery is maintained.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
