Location: Littleborough
Hourly Rate: £12.65 (with increases after 6 weeks and upon successful permanent placement)
Working Hours:

Monday to Wednesday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm

About the Role

Our client, a well-established and respected manufacturing company based in Rochdale, is seeking a skilled and reliable Production Operative to join their growing team.

This hands-on role involves inspecting fibreglass components, ensuring they meet quality standards, and carrying out necessary finishing and repair work. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand tools such as sanders and buffers. Previous experience in vehicle body repair or similar environments would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

Inspecting and finishing fibreglass products to ensure they meet required specifications
Carrying out repairs using appropriate tools and techniques
Using hand tools, including sanders and buffers, to complete tasks
Filing, deburring, and refining components
Preparing materials for production
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Supporting general production duties as required

Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or automotive environment
Confident using a range of hand tools
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
Experience in vehicle body repair or similar finishing work is highly advantageous
