Job Title: Client Administrator
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £30,000 (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday

About the Role
Recruit UK is working on behalf of a well-established financial services firm who are looking to appoint a Client Administrator to join their growing team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual seeking to build a career within the financial services sector. The role offers strong development prospects, with the opportunity to grow into broader back-office functions over time.
Key Responsibilities
Client Review Pack Preparation:
- Obtain valuations, performance data, and charges disclosures.
- Produce and issue annual review packs to clients.
Client Data Collection & Management:
- Issue Investment Risk Questionnaires (IRQs) and Fact Finds.
- Update internal systems with client responses.
- Notify advisers of any changes and follow up with clients via email, post, or phone.
System Maintenance:
- Upload and manage client data generated or received.
Group Scheme Administration:
- Liaise with employers for updated staff data.
- Create annual review packs for Group Pension Plan (GPP) members.
- Coordinate adviser meetings and ensure invoicing and database updates are completed.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Draft simplified Annual Review Suitability Assessment Letters from templates and detailed adviser meeting notes.
- Carry out Anti-Money Laundering checks via Smartsearch.
- Adhere to FCA Conduct Rules and company policies.
General Administration:
- Answer incoming calls and take messages.
- Greet visitors and maintain the reception and meeting room presentation.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- Calculate client fees and issue Client Agreements via post or DocuSign.
Future Development
This role has a clear scope for progression. As your experience grows, you’ll be given opportunities to support in:
- Fund switches.
- ISA, GIA, and Bond withdrawals.
- Pension income withdrawals.
- Processing new business.
- Other administrative tasks supporting the advisory team.
