The purpose of this role is to prepare, plan, co-ordinate and develop cost estimates for Subsea Products & Systems during the tendering phase.
The role primarily covers the development of cost estimates and associated coordination functions. Responsibilities include:
- Detailed product costing of Tree systems, Connection systems, Wellhead, Manifolds, Completion Workover Risers and associated tooling.
- Understanding the coordination tasks relating to estimates developed within the costing services team.
- Working with Engineering/Products Groups to ensure comprehensive assessments of costs are made.
- A proactive approach to gaining information from Engineering and other sources in order to establish the best estimates in a timely manner.
- Compilation of supporting documentation and commercial assumptions.
- Presentation of data in a clear and concise manner.
- Analysing and preparing cost information to support Pricing Approvals.
- Supporting risk analysis within the tendering process.
- Other costing tasks that relate to Travel, Post-FAT Testing, Transportation, Major 3rd Party Scope, Miscellaneous costs (as per ITT requirements), Documentation / 3rd Party Analysis, post tender inflation and estimator’s contingencies etc.
- Other activities set out by the Costing Services Manager.
