About the job
You’ll have an important part to play as our part-time Conference Assistant providing all meeting room and conference equipment requirements. In a fast-paced business environment you’ll regularly set up furniture and equipment for conferences and events, as well as providing, moving and installing Audio Visual support and routine equipment maintenance. Occasionally covering reception during team breaks and holidays, you’ll support with relevant tasks in a small Client Services.

As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:
• Set up conference and meeting rooms
• Move various pieces of equipment including heavy equipment such as chairs, tables, flip charts as required
• Organise storage areas including furniture and AV equipment
• Set up Audio Visual equipment under guidance of the AV Manager and Technicians
• Support conference facilitators and delegates with connecting to room AV systems and WiFi
• Assist with equipment installation, set-up and operation
