I am seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Children’s Support Worker to join my team in providing exceptional care and support to children and young people with emotional, behavioural, and complex needs.

This role requires a compassionate and motivated professional who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise junior staff to ensure consistent delivery of care.
  • Develop and implement personalised care plans tailored to each child’s individual needs.
  • Serve as a positive role model, encouraging personal growth and emotional development.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care reviews and assessments.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months’ experience in children’s residential care or a related support role.
  • A Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People (or working towards completion).
  • Proven leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins.
  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
