About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons across various subjects in the absence of teaching staff. You will supervise whole classes, maintain order, and ensure that students stay on task with their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver lessons prepared by teaching staff across a range of subjects

Manage the classroom environment and ensure students remain focused and engaged

Provide support where needed and promote a positive learning atmosphere

Uphold school policies on behaviour and safeguarding

Report back on student engagement and any issues to relevant staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A degree in any subject (required)

A strong interest in working with young people

Experience in childcare, tutoring, youth work or similar (desirable)

A desire to pursue a career in teaching or education

Excellent communication skills, confidence, and resilience

A positive attitude, initiative, and a strong work ethic
