Adult Community Team – Inspiring Independence, Nurturing Wellbeing

We’re excited to announce that our South Adult Community Team are now accepting applications for Newly Qualified Social Workers.

Here’s your chance to start your social work journey in our passionate community-focused team in Salisbury and surrounding villages.

We offer brilliant support for our Newly Qualified Social Workers with a comprehensive induction and a 12-month ASYE programme, with dedicated time off the job each month in your first year to focus on development and wellbeing. You will also benefit from a work-life balance through our brilliant flexible working schemes.

Adult Community Team South is a large and supportive team consisting of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Social Care Practitioners. We work with adults in need over the age of 18 actively listening, collaborating and tailoring plans to enhance well-being. We partner with healthcare providers to prevent crises, emphasising existing support for independence. Our approach seeks local, sustainable solutions and offers diverse intervention and prevention opportunities.

We’re looking for Newly Qualified Social Workers who have strong interpersonal and effective communication skills, with updated knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
