Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 basic + benefits
My client designs and manufactures rapid/ultra-rapid EV charging solutions.
They are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join their fast-growing R&D/Engineering team.
You will have a strong systems engineering background, ideally from the EV, Automotive or Electronic OEM industries.
Responsibilities for the Senior Systems Engineer – R&D will include:
Working with and collating customer requirements.
Acceptance, decomposition, and management of customer requirement specifications. Where the company\’s acceptance may require multiple stages of evaluation to develop a concept through system modelling and simulation
Defining the product requirements – Including System, Legislative, Functional & Safety.
Gain customer acceptance of any deviations/compromises to meet customer prioritisation of requirements.
Creating architectural designs and managing interfaces between subsystems, and creating performance metrics to measure the definition of done.
Create specifications and execution of tests to verify that both the proposed and implemented solution(s) meet the customer\’s requirements. Skills & Experience – Senior Systems Engineer – R&D:
Proven experience in System design and analysis, Requirements, Architecture creation, component decomposition, and management of requirements.
Proven experience in Documentation and Specification: Writing detailed specifications for systems and components.
Proven experience in system analysis techniques for fault detection, by performing & supporting the development of System analysis tools.
Proven experience in planning, executing, and reviewing testcases of new software, hardware and calibration, specifically integration testing & regression testing.
