Derbyshire County Council are looking for an Enablement Support Team Lead to join our START team in Chesterfield that manages and organises effective provision of services through specific projects, specialist advice and guidance and the day-to-day co-ordination of a team. Improving outcomes through supporting and assisting the well-being of individuals.
We’re all about enablement that really matters – encouraging people to achieve their best in their own homes and communities. Do you like supporting colleagues to help people in the community to discover their own strengths? Can you encourage and support them to help people in the community to live as independently as they can?
This is a great time to join us because we are developing a new programme that wraps time-limited support around people at home. We’re looking for colleagues who can contribute their skills and expertise working with multi-disciplinary professional teams in localities across Derbyshire. We need team members who can support us to adopt new ways of working and make sure that collaboration around those we are working with is at the heart of everything we do.

The job will require unsocial hours working as you will be working a 4-week rolling rota that includes a working pattern of 7am to 3pm, 2pm – 10pm and 9am – 5pm including a proportion of weekends and Bank Holidays. Enhanced rates of pay will apply between 7pm and 7am and Bank Holidays.
