Escape Recruitment are looking for a practical, solutions-focused Equipment Engineer to help keep our clients production machinery running at peak performance. You\’ll be involved in everything from preventative maintenance and quick-fire repairs to equipment upgrades and process improvements – making a real difference to uptime, reliability, and efficiency. If you\’ve got a background in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience), enjoy variety in your day, and like solving technical challenges, we\’d love to hear from you. What You\’ll Be Doing: Carry out regular checks, servicing, and calibrations to keep equipment performing at its best. Troubleshoot and repair faults, and implement upgrades to improve reliability. Build, assemble, and install machinery to high technical and safety standards. Work with engineering teams to design and improve equipment and processes. Reduce downtime through preventative maintenance and quick, effective repairs. Monitor performance, maintain accurate asset records, and plan for future equipment needs.What We\’re Looking For: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or strong equivalent experience). Experience working with electrical/electronic systems in a multi-discipline environment. A good understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices.
