MPA Recruitment are actively recruiting for both Band 4 & Band 5 children’s residential support Worker in the North Down Area.

How much will you get paid & Hours or work?

  • Band 4 Support Worker £13.57ph – £21.71ph dependent on shift worked.
  • Band 5 Support Worker – £15.33ph – £24.52ph dependent on shift worked.
  • Days & Nights required on a rota basis.

What does the job in involve?

  • Assist with the care and supervision of the children and young people who are resident in the home.
  • Work in partnership with the keyworkers to ensure care plans can be developed.
  • To work with children/ young people and their families, on a one to one

or group basis, using a variety of interventions, to identify needs and to

achieve positive outcome.

  • To work co-operatively with children’s services, health agencies and

other community-based services, to provide the most effective service for the children/young people and carers/families.

  • To apply safeguarding and child protection procedures

Do you meet the criteria?

  • (Essential Criteria for Band 5) Hold a higher-level education qualification & 1 years’ experience working in a children’s residential setting OR have 2 years’ experience working in a children’s residential setting
  • (Essential Criteria for Band 4) Hold a level 3 education qualification in care and1 years’ experience working in a children’s residential setting
  • Registered with NISSC
  • Willingness to do mandatory inhouse training
  • Must complete Enhanced Access NI check yearly.
