Responsibilities
- Lead the Non-Conformance Authority (NCA) engineering team, overseeing dispositioning of non-conformance issues including concessions, deviations, and technical assessments.
- Ensure product and personnel safety.
- Drive non-conformance resolution milestones, focusing on high-priority targets and backlog reduction.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance non-conformance processes.
- Manage workload off-loading to service providers, improving output effectiveness.
- Act as the primary technical interface for NCAs and DARs with customers and programs.
- Present metrics and performance reports to leadership teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Manage resources and budgets, participating in planning and prioritization.
- Develop team competencies and support professional growth and succession planning.
- Coordinate team resources effectively.
