The business are a leading talent management business across Film, TV, Music and Sports. Managing talent and brokering brand partnerships for some of the best known celebrities in the world. Over the last few years, the business has grown significantly via some high profile acquisitions as well as a major shareholding sale to one of the largest luxury groups in the world.
As part of the growth they have split out two divisions and are in the market for a Financial Controller to lead the finance team supporting their Sports business.
Description
The Financial Controller is responsible for:
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of 5
- Key business partner to non-finance stakeholders, this will make up 70% of the role
- Overseeing the period close
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Contract review
- Oversee reconciliations
- Year-end audit and preparation of financial statements
- Ad-hoc projects
Profile
The Financial Controller will be:
- A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Demonstrable track record as a Financial Controller in a matrix organisation
- Able to business partner and influence at all levels
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail and can work to tight deadlines
Job Offer
The Financial Controller role comes with a base salary of £100,000-£115,000, plus bonus, pension, holiday, private medical and hybrid working (3 days in office).
