We are seeking a priest of incumbent status, with outstanding ability to share and inspire faith in Christ.

Bath Abbey exists to "Live and Tell the Good News of Jesus", with our city and its visitors.

The Abbey Missioner will join the Rector, Abbey Pastor and a team of lay and clergy leaders, with lead responsibility for:

  • Evangelism with our daily visitors (who number 450,000 a year) – modelling and training with our large team of congregation, staff and volunteers

  • Interpreting and communicating the Abbey’s Christian heritage, alongside our visitor experience team

  • Our city-facing social action and mission initiatives, with church and non-church partners

  • Our world-wide mission engagement and support, as a "House of Prayer for All Nations"
