About the job:
As Vice President of Leadership Development, you will significantly influence the organization’s success by leading the comprehensive leadership development efforts across their international businesses, strategically, operationally, and tactically. You will inherit a strong foundational leadership development capability with the expectation to build and evolve this.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Serve as a thought partner to the CLO, meaningfully contributing to the evolution of an overarching leadership development vision and strategy.
- Develop the international vision/strategy that supports the business’s overarching vision strategy.
- Partner with North American Leadership Development and International Human Resource Teams to leverage alignment of effort.
- Provide support to the Executive Leadership Team and Country Managing Directors in their leadership development efforts within their businesses.
- Overall responsibility for the growth and performance of a nine-person, geographically dispersed, leadership development team.
- Guide/engage with team members to translate strategy into action.
- Design and facilitate formal leadership development in-person learning opportunities for senior leaders.
About you:
As an experienced senior leader, you will have extensive experience building, embedding, and owning international leadership development offerings across a wide-reaching and large-scale business. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to design and facilitate leadership development experiences that elevate senior leaders into thinking in an actionable way, viewing leadership as a principle and a cultural commitment as a basis to your experience.
You will have come from a background of leadership and capability experience as the core of your career and currently own this within your role. You will be used to leading internationally dispersed teams and working with stakeholders across different geographics.
This business sits within the security sector with field teams and dispersed workforces. Ideally, you will have worked in a similar business, for example, construction, manufacturing, or engineering.
Most importantly, you will have a passion for leadership development and influencing success in others. You are always naturally curious and a champion for continued professional development.
A bachelor’s or equivalent degree as well as advanced qualifications in the area of leadership theory preferred.
Salary: £165,000 – £175,000 + £9,200 car allowance and additional excellent benefits.
UK Head office: Staines, Surrey. Regular travel will also be involved, including overseas trips to Europe and the US.
