We are seeking a highly motivated and committed administrator to join our Children’s therapy teams at Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. The role will be required to provide efficient and effective administrative duties to the Children’s Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy Teams and the Autism Diagnostic Pathway (includes the Multi-Disciplinary Assessment [MDA])
The post requires flexibility and the ability to provide a wide range of administrative duties as the services develop.
This post is a full time permanent post of 37.5 hours. Part time and/or job sharing will be considered
Main duties of the job
To carry out administration duties in a manner that supports departmental targets and ensures compliance with standard operating procedures.
To support smooth running of the childrens therapy services including the autism diagnostic pathway (Multi-Disciplinary Assessment [MDA])
Deal with day-to-day correspondence, initiating appropriate responses to provide patients, staff and other parties with required information in a friendly and professional manner.
Receive telephone calls, accepting messages on behalf of members of the specialty team, taking appropriate action where necessary
