Job Description
- Complete robust risk assessments and identify protection needs for children and families.
- Manage a varied and complex caseload, often involving Child Protection, CIN, and Court work.
- Lead safeguarding investigations, develop care plans, and drive timely interventions.
- Work in partnership with agencies to deliver coordinated, child-focused outcomes.
- Provide support and guidance to less experienced staff and social work students.
- Champion best practice and ensure children’s voices are central to your work.

- A Social Work degree (or equivalent) and registration with Social Work England
- 4+ years of post-qualifying experience in children’s safeguarding and statutory work
- Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding procedures
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with families and professionals

- Confidence in multi-agency working and complex decision-making
