Job Description
We’re looking for a HR Continuous Improvement & Solutions Lead to join us on a 12 month fixed-term contract, in either London, Hove or Cardiff!
You’ll be responsible for leading and managing the continuous innovation process within the HR change portfolio. This involves identifying opportunities for global HR innovation, developing and implementing strategies to drive continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of innovation through the delivery of solutions and enhancements within the HR system landscape whilst working closely with the core HR Continuous Improvement team.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Leading the continuous improvement & solutions delivery within transformational change initiatives to improve and transform end-to-end processes
- Applying and actively seeking relevant CI methodologies to understand and improve business-wide processes, driving enhancement throughout, ensuring that process design remains in line with regulatory commitments, cost assumptions, customer requirements and business strategy
- Drawing on recognised business engagement models and through the application of a range of colleague engagement techniques to support transformational activity
- Maintaining a close understanding of key customer expectations and/or requirements to lead improvement initiatives whilst understanding the impact of the recommended changes on operating model, organisational design, front line colleagues and business processes
- Designing documentation to support continuous improvement project governance (SOPs, Process Maps, Business & Technical requirements)
- Supporting the testing of solutions and enhancements, ensuring collaboration between business testers, programme test team and functional engineers during the testing phase, identifying issues, understanding the impact of changes, and ensuring that the solutions are efficient and effective
- Leading on knowledge transfer and embedding of policy, system & process changes with core operational teams including the CI team & Change & Comms teams
- Ensuring any system or process changes that impact customer journeys have been reviewed by business stakeholders to determine the impact of the changes on the delivery of customer outcomes
Qualifications
Who we\’re looking for:
- You’ll be well versed in HR systems including HCM/Recruitment systems and their processes
- Strong understanding of the relationship between business processes and regulatory frameworks (HR/GDPR/Government policy)
- Strong awareness of governance & documentation within the CI space
- Experience of leading and introducing best practice continuous improvement enhancements within a programme of work/BAU
- You’ll also be used to collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders
- Any qualifications in Prince II Practitioner/APMP, Lean Six Sigma principles, Agile would be a huge plus!
