What you will do:
- Continue to develop Metro Bankâs partnership and sponsorship strategy in line with the brand strategy.
- Lead, develop and manage Metro Bankâs partnership with the ECB across community, domestic & international cricket and any future partnerships the bank undertakes.
- Be the primary point of contact for Metro Bank with the ECB, governing bodies and agency partners.
- Lead the strategic delivery of contracted assets across international, domestic and community cricket.
- Lead strategic thinking and delivery for the partnership across brand and partnership campaigns and The Metro Bank Girls in Cricket Fund, our co-designed and co-funded initiative with the ECB aiming to increase the number of girls cricket teams across England and Wales.
- Influence rights holders and governing bodies to forward the womenâs game with the goal to make cricket a more gender balanced sport.
- Lead cross-functional go-to-market teams including stakeholders from brand, social media, external comms, internal comms, events, product, distribution, CRM and our in-house studio.
- Manage & lead our sponsorship agency relationship including strategy development, campaign development, contract and budget management.
- Manage & implement FCA compliant ticketing process.
- Manage the tracking and reporting of the partnership against the stated objectives and KPIs.
- Be the ambassador for the partnership across the bank at all levels including c-suite and driving colleague engagement.
- Be the main point of contact for local sponsorship requests from across the bank and manage accordingly in line with the bankâs sponsorship strategy.
- Line manage the Partnerships Manager, creating clear roles and responsibilities between the Head of Partnerships and Manager and fostering a high-performing teams environment to enable them to thrive.

What you will need:
- Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in sports partnership or sponsorship management and activation and working with rights holders to create short, medium and long term plans.
- Strong experience working on campaign development and activations ensuring alignment to brand strategy and consistency across touchpoints.
- Experience in content marketing from strategy development, production through to amplification.
- Passionate about womenâs sport and making a difference in transforming the game from grassroots to elite.
- Strong industry knowledge of womenâs sports, the barriers and opportunities and key influencers.
- You will be analytical, with good experience using data and insight to create strategic plans that deliver the partnership strategy, drive growth and community impact.
- Skilled at working alongside multiple and senior stakeholders with a proven ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
- Experienced in working with finite budgets and resources and delivering high quality work within deadlines.
- Strong negotiation, influencing and communication skills including c-suite level.
