We are working with a Structural Engineering consultancy based in London who are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Façade Structural Engineer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a consultancy environment. You will join their growing team of specialists to deliver structural design and analysis of façade systems on a variety of complex and high-profile projects. Key Responsibilities for Façade Structural Engineer: Provide structural engineering expertise for façade systems including curtain walling, cladding, glazing, and bespoke façade elements Work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other consultants to develop integrated façade solutions Prepare calculations, specifications, and reports in line with project requirements and industry standards Carry out site inspections and coordinate with fabricators during construction phases Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability targets Requirements for the Façade Structural Engineer: Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (MEng or BEng) Minimum 3 years’ experience in a façade or structural engineering consultancy Solid understanding of materials such as glass, aluminium, steel, and composites Experience using structural analysis software (e.g., RFEM, Robot, ANSYS, or similar) Strong communication skills and ability to present technical concepts clearly Chartered or working towards chartership with IStructE, ICE, or similar is a plus Benefits for the Facade Structural Engineer: Competitive salary package based on experience Support for professional development and chartership Flexible working options and a collaborative team environment
