Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Salary: 40,000 – 45,000 DOE + Overtime
Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Thursday: Rotating 07:00-15:15 / 08:00-16:15

  • Friday: Rotating 07:00-14:30 / 08:00-15:30

Escape Recruitment\’s client is on the lookout for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their team at a leading manufacturing company. You\’ll be the heartbeat of our operation ensuring the production lines run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

In this role, you won\’t just be maintaining machines – you\’ll be part of a collaborative engineering team that tackles challenges head-on, contributes to exciting improvement projects, and helps drive continuous innovation in a fast-paced environment.

What You\’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering both planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance to keep our equipment running at peak performance

  • Working on a wide range of machinery and production equipment

  • Troubleshooting and resolving electrical faults quickly and effectively

  • Getting stuck into project and improvement work

  • Contributing to a team-oriented, supportive environment where your input matters

What We\’re Looking For

  • 3+ years\’ experience in a similar maintenance engineering role

  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

  • Apprentice-trained background

  • Confident with fault finding- especially on electrical systems

  • PLC fault finding experience is a bonus (but not essential)
