Why join us? The Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss division at DWF are seeking a Solicitor or Associate with a real interest in joining the team, focusing primarily on Catastrophic Loss. This team is one of the largest in the UK and is recognised nationally. We act for a large number of insurers, many of whom are household names. This role will be hybrid and based in the London office. Responsibilities Able to deal with complex, catastrophic and large loss claims with a value of over £100k, with many being over £1 million in value. Assist by developing a caseload of large loss claims and in time becoming a recognised catastrophic injury lawyer. Deal with a range of serious injury files including RTA and EL/PL matters. Assist a busy partner by undertaking the day-to-day assistance of a caseload of catastrophic injury claims. What will help you succeed in this role? Essential You will be able to demonstrate a real interest in catastrophic injury work. Gained experience of handling personal injury files either in their own right, or as assistants to more senior lawyers. Desirable The ability to be a team player. Ample communication skills and attention to detail. You will be familiar working in a commercial environment. What we offer?
