Job Description

As a Director of Finance, you will lead the finance, payroll, and procurement functions, as well as the HR provision for the organisation.

You will also provide specific financial assurance to the Chief Executive, lead on external and internal audits, oversee risk management processes, and support the Audit & Risk Committee of the Board.

Ensuring the development and maintenance of effective financial policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will hold a full accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or CIPFA) and have worked in a similar position within the public sector. The ability to build rapport and relationships will be key, along with being available at short notice to start the position.
