Job Description
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a User Researcher for an initial 6 month contract on a rate between £500/day (Outside IR35). This role will be a hybrid of working at home and in the office.
Responsibilities:
– Plan, design, and conduct user research to gather insights on user needs, behaviours, and pain points.
– Use a variety of research methods, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and data analysis.
– Collaborate with service designers and business analysts to translate user insights into actionable recommendations.
– Advocate for users and ensure their needs are at the forefront of decision-making.
– Work closely with the project team to ensure compliance with criteria and principles.
– Document and share research findings to inform the development of user-centred solutions.
– Contribute to the development of personas, user journeys, and scenarios.
– Provide expertise in accessibility and inclusivity to ensure all users are considered.
