About the role

Reporting to the UK Real Estate Sales Director, the key account manager looks after the current and future activities of RX in the Real Estate sector for the UK & Ireland and represents its brands MIPIM & MAPIC. TheKey Account Managerplays a strategic role in developing the client portfolio through a consultative, service-led approach and in identifying and securing future strategic partners critical to business growth. The role involves selling a range of the organisation’s and third-party event and exhibition solutions—including booth space, sponsorships, and media placements—while independently managing account strategies in line with broader sales objectives. Additionally, the Key Account Manager supports team development by onboarding new members and contributing to performance evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to commercial goals by identifying and developing new business, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Deliver tailored solutions using consultative sales techniques including active listening, effective questioning, and persuasive communication.
  • Prepare clear and client-focused sales proposals that reflect identified needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders across client organisations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems.
  • Monitor sales performance and generate reports to inform strategy.
  • Develop and communicate action plans based on analysis of client portfolios and market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate efforts to support client success

Requirements

  • Experience in Real Estate and related sectors is required.
  • Experience in the tradeshow industry, as well as French knowledge, would be a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service and resolve issues effectively.
  • Confident in handling data and reporting figures with accuracy.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a collaborative and inclusive approach to teamwork.
  • Experience in events or client-facing roles is desirable but not essential.
  • Willing to travel up to 30% of the time, primarily within the UK and France
