Job Description
- Delivering client-centred Occupational Therapy interventions to promote independence and wellbeing
- Supporting individuals through complex assessments, including major and minor housing adaptations, reablement, and moving & handling strategies
- Supervising and mentoring OT Assistants and other team members
- Providing training, guidance, and specialist advice to families, carers, and professionals
- Contributing to safe and timely hospital discharges and community transitions
- Conducting independent mobility assessments, including for Blue Badge provision
- Working with clients in a variety of settings, including prison-based assessments
- Promoting innovative, cost-effective solutions to enhance client independence
? What We’re Looking For:
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration
- At least 2 years’ post-registration experience
- Strong assessment and report-writing skills
- A solid understanding of disability-related legislation and OT best practice
- Experience in one or more of the following: housing adaptations, moving & handling, or paediatric/complex equipment
- Confidence working in homes and multi-agency environments
- A proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential car user allowance available)
