Position Summary This is a rare opportunity to lead digital marketing for the UK’s largest specialist family law firm, backed by a significant marketing budget. It’s a chance to shape a role that stands apart in the legal industry and make a real impact on client acquisition. We’re looking for a Head of Digital Marketing to work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to develop and deliver our digital acquisition strategy. You’ll take charge of implementing and refining plans to meet monthly new business targets and grow our client base. This role suits someone highly commercial with a proven track record in digital acquisition marketing. You’ll enjoy collaborating across the business and leading a performance-driven team. Strong technical expertise in PPC, SEO, and CRO is essential to succeed. Responsibilities include: Development of the digital strategy that brings together paid and owned channels to set and meet new business objectives. Establishing the opportunity in the market, making recommendations as to the investment required to shape the growth plan for this and the subsequent 3 year plan. Working with the firm\’s Regional Directors to understand their new business requirements and how best we support their teams in opening new client files. Work with our Head of Client Services to monitor quality and volume of new business demand being delivered into the business, to ensure we are optimising every enquiry generated. Identify, measure and set KPI’s for the levers that drive new business performance. Working with the Marketing Analyst to develop and deliver weekly and monthly trading performance reporting against agreed plans and targets. Day-to-day trading including ongoing optimisation and deployment of a test and learn approach. Implement the digital marketing plan ensuring all programs are delivered on time and to budget. Work alongside our Head of Brand, providing a clear SEO strategy which will shape the content plan and the use of social channels for lead generation. Work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to set the Marketing strategy for the firm that considers all elements of the marketing mix; price, product, place and promotion. Management of the digital marketing team. Key Skills/Attitude Ability to develop a data-driven strategy based on insight. Exceptional analytical skills – comfortable working with large datasets at pace. A brave & ambitious approach to achieving growth. Curious mindset finding ways to improve results. A willingness to roll-up sleeves and do what’s needed to get the job done. Ability to lead and develop staff. Qualifications & Experience Experience of developing and implementing marketing strategies delivering a positive ROI. Proven ability to optimise digital B2C campaigns to meet performance metrics. Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects across numerous digital channels in an agile, fast-paced environment. Highly numerate and analytically minded able to translate analysis into action to boost future performance. Strong knowledge of user journey analysis and CRO. Strong knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4). To have designed, executed and measured CRO programmes. Strong knowledge of SEO and how to drive organic traffic. Ideally experience of using Tableau. A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing large scale PPC campaigns – preferably in an \”in house\” team. Digital agency experience also considered. Location: Ideally Yorkshire or North West but flexible. There will be a requirement for full team meetings twice per month in Leeds or Harrogate.
