Lighthouse Hotel Management are now recruiting for the brand new and exciting role of Head of Marketing. Reporting to the Commercial Director. Based remotely with easy access to national and international travel routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the hotel’s target markets, including leisure, corporate, and group segments.
- Create marketing strategies from scratch for new openings, taking into consideration the requirements of the brand and that of the hotel.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, target audience preferences, and competitive positioning.
- Examine customer feedback and behavior analysis.
- Set and manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
- Understand the industry trends and how they impact the guest.
- Work with the international brands and ensure all mandates are followed and interpreted within the hotel’s marketing activities.
- Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistency across all channels.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure uniformity in marketing materials.
- Write copy and ensure brand guidelines are displayed throughout all communications.
- Monitor and enhance the company’s online and offline presence.
- Plan, execute, and analyze marketing campaigns across digital, social media, print, and other platforms.
- Collaborate with creative teams to produce engaging content and materials.
- Measure campaign performance and adjust strategies to optimize results.
- Oversee the hotel’s online presence, including website, social media, and third-party travel platforms.
- Manage SEO, SEM, and PPC campaigns to drive traffic and bookings.
- Optimize the hotel’s listing on OTAs (Online Travel Agencies).
- Utilize email marketing campaigns to engage past and potential guests.
- Lead and mentor the hotel teams, fostering a culture of creativity and performance.
- Define roles and responsibilities within the hotel social media and marketing champions.
- Provide regular training and development opportunities for team members.
- Work closely with sales, product, and other departments to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
- Build and manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and media outlets.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess marketing effectiveness.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management to highlight successes, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Utilize data to make informed decisions and refine strategies.

- Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, analytics, and emerging trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, and social media management tools.
