Assistant Data Manager – Part-Time

Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part-Time, 20 hours per week
Salary: £25,847.00 – £27,594.00 Pro Rata

Working centrally, the postholder will join the Estate Management Team to support the work completed by our Rural Surveyors by ensuring our Estate Management system is accurate and kept up-to-date. Our Estate Management software is key to our income and compliance and is essential to our ongoing work.
What's the role about?
As well as creating invoices and rent demands, you will be responsible for adding legal agreement details by entering data on a regular basis and use our GIS software to map our tenancies.
You will be administering user permissions and following protocols for the use of sensitive data and information so that appropriate security measures are in place to prevent unauthorised or detrimental use following our System Administration processes.
You will also be working with a wider range of teams within the organisation including Reserves, Rural Surveyors, Building Surveyors, Finance providing data and management information ensuring the quality and availability of business data.
This role can be based remotely within the UK, with very occasional travel for training/in-person meetings.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Experience of using databases to store and query data
- An aptitude for, and interest in, managing data
- Ability to quickly learn to use new software including GIS mapping
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to work across various teams
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications including SharePoint
- Logical, methodical, patient, and friendly with excellent attention to detail
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
- Familiarity with ArcGIS or other Mapping software
- Previous experience in using Finance software
- Previous experience in the Land and Property sector and/or using Estate Management software
- Good problem-solving skills
- The ability to prioritise tasks and be flexible during periods of both low and high demand
- Self-motivated and able to take the initiative
