Located in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, Priory Hospital Lincolnshire is a low secure unit for males with mental health conditions. It offers support to those who are detained under the Mental Health Act (MHA).
What you\’ll be doing
- Works as Senior Nurse in a Ward or equivalent area ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, their families and visitors.
- Apply relevant policies and statutory requirements within the ward and hospital framework of governance and communicates requirements to the wider team.
- Ensures that risk is assessed and managed across the immediate and wider working environment and that statutory requirements are met.
- Respects and applies the requirements of diversity and inclusion, promoting and role modelling these across the team.
What you\’ll bring to the role
The ideal candidate will hold active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, meeting all requirements of revalidation. They will be a trained assessor or supervisor, with essential clinical supervision experience and preferably relevant training. A strong commitment to continued professional development is essential, supported by evidence of ongoing learning and leadership growth. Good computer skills are required. Candidates should have at least 18 months to 2 yearsβ post-registration experience and demonstrable expertise within a clinical specialty.
