About the role

As a Recruiter for the Pharmacy Programmes team, you will play a pivotal role in attracting and retaining talented students through a range of annual programmes. If you are passionate about building relationships and have a desire to make a difference in Pharmacy students’ lives, this is the perfect opportunity for you. In this role, you will be given the autonomy to truly collaborate with your stakeholders and external partners to make a real difference. Reporting into the Recruitment Manager – Healthcare Programmes, you will:

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

  1. Design and deliver the recruitment elements of the annual programme cycle for Boots Pharmacy Placement (BPP), Foundation Training Programme, and management of the Trainee Pharmacist to newly qualified offer process.
  2. Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement throughout the duration of the programmes cycle, to enhance the process and journey for candidates and leaders alike.
  3. Create, maintain, and grow strong relationships with key stakeholder groups, both internally and externally.
  4. Provide regular market insights via research, events, and networking to ensure the business is up to date on economic trends, new technology, and competitor analysis.
  5. Work in collaboration with the wider HR team, sharing best practices and learnings to successfully deliver the programmes in line with business objectives.
  6. Use data and reporting to measure the effectiveness of the programmes from both a candidate and operational perspective.
  7. Represent our brand externally to raise the profile of our early career opportunities, across attraction campaigns and social media.
  8. Attend careers fairs and deliver presentations at universities across the country.

What you’ll need to have

  1. Candidate centric mindset in all recruitment activity.
  2. Experience in a fast-paced recruitment team, delivering the annual recruitment cycle.
  3. Strong time management, workload planning, and organisation skills.
  4. Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  5. Experience of delivering effective keep warm strategies.
  6. Effective communication skills, both verbally and written.
  7. Knowledge of student recruitment attraction strategies, including social media and campaign management.
  8. Ability to attend and travel to careers fairs at universities across the country.
