Our Client is a globally recognised brand within the Consulting sector.
Description
Our Client is seeking an experienced Commercial Technology lawyer to work in its Commercial Team, to support the continued growth of the UK business, primarily in the professional services and technology space. Our Client’s technology practice has grown significantly over the past few years and it is anticipated that this expansion will continue.
You will be leading negotiations and drafting contracts with both public and private sector clients which relate to:
- Substantive Software Licensing
- Resale
- Technology implementation
- Cross-border technology deals
- AI
You will sit at the negotiation table and attend board level meetings.
The role’s management element relates to the management and ownership of the whole of the projects on which you will be working. There are no direct reports, but all employees operating at this level have informal pastoral responsibilities.
Profile
Key requirements:
- Detailed knowledge of English Law, at least 7 years’ PQE (or equivalent) in a commercial team;
- Broad experience of advising on IT contracts (software implementations, licensing, reselling and technology managed services), and other commercial contracts;
- Excellent drafting skills;
- Ability to handle complex negotiations using sound commercial judgement to ensure that the firm’s best interests are served and consulting with others as required.
