Join to apply for the Digital Marketing Assistant – Email Marketing role at Shoezone Retail Limited.
We have an opportunity for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our team based at our Head Office in Leicester. You will join us on a full time contract (37.5 hours), permanent basis and in return will receive a salary of up to £24,000 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Plan and build broadcast and automated trigger email campaigns following the outlined plan.
- Brief the in-house design team on graphics which are required for campaigns.
- Test campaigns to ensure that they render correctly across different devices and email clients.
- Monitor and report weekly/monthly on the performance of individual campaigns and email marketing using Google Analytics and other tools.
- Liaise with ESP (email service provider) Account Manager/Support Team on an ongoing basis to deal with any issues or queries which arise and carry out monthly review meetings/conference calls to ensure performance of campaigns are meeting targets/KPIs.
- Continually monitor competitors to ensure we are competitive with our activity and also adopting any new strategies which are being used.
- Keep up to date with email marketing best practices and ensure that our email marketing activity is in line with them.
- Ensure our email campaigns are fully integrated with our Digital Marketing activity and aimed at engaging our audience, driving traffic to our site and showcasing our products and promotional campaigns.
- Understanding our brand and customers to write engaging, informative copy and constantly improve this based on analytics.
- General ad-hoc digital marketing admin.
- You will report into the Digital Marketing Co-ordinator but will work alongside the wider team in your day to day tasks.
- Undertake other tasks as required to deliver a high standard digital experience.
Qualifications
- Highly organised, efficient and a great communicator with a keenness to progress their career in marketing.
- Ideally with experience in a similar role or a marketing degree.
- You must have a flare for email marketing and impeccable attention to detail, with the ability to problem solve and help others.
