PE Global is recruiting a Transport Analyst for our client based in Larne, Northern Ireland. The role is an initial 6-month contract and the role is hybrid. The rate for this role is £14.79 PAYE or £20.07 Umbrella p/hour. Responsibilities: Support the Trade Lane Manager to plan and execute transportation operations for finished products from production centres in EAME to Dealers in region and overseas. Support and initiate continuous improvement ideas or larger transformational initiatives. Review and identify areas for improvement through review of Velocity on our Transportation Lanes. Review and identify areas for improvement through performance management of our carriers. Support the operational performance metrics (velocity, cost, data quality) and work across teams to achieve the targets. Leverage systems, business intelligence dashboard and relationships to identify improvement opportunities. Proactive communicate and maintain relationships with supply chain partners and customers. Develop in-depth business knowledge of product and customer requirements. Requirements: Bachelor degree or third level education in Supply chain, business administration (Master is a plus) or equivalent experience in Supply chain, business administration. Prior experience in International transportation ie Ocean (Container/RORO), Road (Truck) and Air. Approx 2 years relevant experience. Strong Skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Sharepoint, One Drive, Outlook) Excel needs to be a high standard Good to have: Working Knowledge of Visio, Power Bi, Power Automate, Salesforce Candidate needs to be able to dig into dashboards, identifying data, find any errors, asking the why\’s, taking it to the right teams, identifying route causes and helping with solutions.
