Senior Counsel Europe & APAC Employment Law Global Banking Group

As part of the Global Employment Law Group advising on contentious and non-contentious matters covering the UK, Europe and APAC

  • Provides advice and counsel assist in the management of legal and reputational risk involving employment-related issues in the UK Europe and Asia-Pacific across all of the entities
  • Manage litigation for employment law disputes
  • Provides legal support and advice to functional and business partners with respect to legislative developments of employment standards and other related laws
  • Manages investigations involving allegations of employee misconduct

Candidate Profile :

  • Broad range of employment law experience either from private practice or in-house within a bank or financial services firm
  • Ability to understand global issues and operate in a global business
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal partners, regulators, and external counsel
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.
  • Strong ability to balance competing work demands and manage multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of the highly regulated banking industry and decision making in a highly regulated environment operating across legal regimes and geographies
  • Qualified Lawyer
