The Systems Support Officer\’s post is part of the CDD Services Procurement Information Team and is responsible for providing an effective, efficient, and professional procurement system and information service to all stakeholder organizations. The Procurement Information Team is replacing the current procurement system, Cardea. This role will assist the team with the implementation of the new procurement system.
Main Duties of the Job
This role will support the Procurement Information team with the replacement of the Cardea Procurement system.
The key tasks include:
- Supporting the implementation of the new procurement system.
- Pre go-live tasks such as data collection, testing, and helpdesk support.
- Post go-live tasks including helpdesk support and resolving system issues.
Main duties will include:
- Gathering administrative data to populate the new system.
- Learning how the system works to participate in testing and ensure functionality.
- Providing helpdesk support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for staff.
- Recording system issues and managing issue logs.
- Producing reports for staff as requested.

Job Responsibilities
This role supports the Procurement Information team with the replacement of the Cardea Procurement system.
The key tasks include support for system implementation, data collection, testing, helpdesk support, and issue resolution, both pre and post go-live. Responsibilities include gathering admin data, learning system operations, troubleshooting, recording issues, and producing reports.

Experience
- Working knowledge of electronic procurement systems.
- Experience involved in previous system implementations.
Special Skills & Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of organizational policies, such as Standing Financial Instructions.
- Ability to respond to queries within 48 hours.
- Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work.
Qualifications
- GCSE Maths and English grades A*-C or 9-4 (or equivalent).
- NVQ Level 3 or a Diploma in IM&T or equivalent experience.
