Apprenticeship Programme Manager – Health and Adult Care
Leeds City College are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Apprenticeship Programme Manager – Health and Adult Care to join our team.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing activities and strategies to ensure high retention, achievement, success, and attendance rates for identified Health and Adult Care courses.
As a key figure, you will play a crucial part in the overall quality assurance processes and the continuous improvement of the curriculum, ensuring positive outcomes for learners within the Health and Adult Care apprenticeships from Levels 2 to 5.
What You Will Do
- As an Apprenticeship Programme Manager, you will oversee the effective delivery and continuous improvement of Health and Adult Care apprenticeship programmes. This includes leading curriculum planning, assessment, and quality assurance processes, while supporting staff to ensure high-quality teaching, learning, and progress.
- You will manage learner progress through SMART target setting and intervention, contribute to course promotion and enrolment, and build strong relationships with employers and stakeholders to secure successful outcomes.
- The role also includes responsibility for safeguarding and will involve some teaching delivery.
About You
- The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills within the Health and Adult Care sector, with the ability to support and develop staff delivering apprenticeships from Levels 2 to 5.
- You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with learners, staff, and external stakeholders.
- A sound understanding of Health and Adult Care apprenticeship standards and their practical application is essential, along with the ability to inspire and motivate learners through inclusive, engaging, and differentiated teaching.
- The role also requires a flexible and solution-focused approach, responsive to the needs of both learners and the evolving sector.
