Priory Wellbeing Centre Birmingham is right in the heart of the city centre, making it easy to access expert support for a range of mental health conditions.
What you\’ll be doing
- Be working in the outpatient team to provide EMDR assessment, formulation and treatment to clients.
- Work closely with other relevant professionals as appropriate.
- communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerns the assessment, formulation and treatment plans to clients.
- Undertake risk assessment and risk management of patients.
What you\’ll bring to the role
To work with Priory as a sessional therapist or psychologist, we ask that you ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience, and can demonstrate a good level of clinical experience in your chosen field. You are able to offer strong clinical judgement, excellent communication skills and able to adhere to good organisational clinical governance; which will include the use of digital platforms, concise clinical notes and attending risk management meetings as required.
Accreditation with an approved professional body is required, which includes HCPC, UKCP, BABCP, BACP, NCPS, BPC, ACAT, and ACP (relevant to the type of modality you wish to offer). We can consider ‘working towards accreditation’ in certain circumstances, and can discuss this on a case-by-case basis.
