The predicted salary is between 27000 - 42000 £ per year.
We are looking for Nursing Associate (NA) to work with our Neighbourhood Nursing Teams supporting housebound/residential care patients across the 6 neighbourhoods in Barnsley.
The NA will work with a multi professional team contributing to ongoing assessment, providing & monitoring care in line with service pathways & as agreed with your supervising clinician(s).
You will monitor the condition & health needs of people on a continual basis in partnership with the multi-professional team.
The NA has a breadth of knowledge providing holistic & person-centred care & support for people in a variety of settings. You will work independently under the leadership of Registered Nurses, working within the sphere of nursing & care.
You will have ability to communicate effectively, with sensitivity & compassion.

Undertake comprehensive health care needs assessment, ensuring they are planned, implemented & reassess as appropriate for a range of health needs including wound care, medication support, insulin, continence, end of life care.

Have the skills to work across both our planned nursing & crisis pathways. Our aim is to support patients to remain well & independent in their own homes/place of residence & reduce the need for acute hospital admission.
