Are you an experienced Quality Inspector ready to take on a leadership role? Would you like the opportunity to shape a high-performing team in a global manufacturing organisation?
This is a hands-on leadership role at a leading manufacturing site in Lincolnshire, where you\’ll supervise and support a team of 6–8 inspectors. With a strong reputation for high-precision components and global operations, the business is looking for a confident and skilled Quality Inspector to join the team and shape the department!
What You’ll Be Doing as a Quality Inspector:
- Leading Quality Control function to establish world-class inspection and metrology processes
- Inspection of components through CMM or manual methods
- Setting and adjusting CMM programs
- Ensuring all quality documents are maintained and completed accurately
- Liaising with other departments on quality related matters for resolution
- Leading and developing a team, implementing training plans, and supporting ongoing career development.
Person Requirement for the Quality Inspector:
- A strong inspection background with at least 5 years\’ experience, ideally coming through an apprenticeship, HNC or HND route.
- Proven ability to program and operate CMMs
- Deep understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and metrology principles
- Experience working within regulated manufacturing industries
- Confident leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor and train others
