Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with the potential to teach Key Stage 5). Develop a deep understanding of students\’ learning needs and differentiate lessons accordingly. Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, inquiry, and scientific thinking. Use a range of teaching strategies and resources, including practical experiments, to enhance student learning. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and offering support to help students achieve their best. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to departmental initiatives. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development. Uphold school policies related to safeguarding, student welfare, and health and safety.What We’re Looking For: A degree in a Science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science). Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). A passion for Science and the ability to inspire and motivate students. Experience teaching Science at the secondary school level (Key Stage 3 and 4). Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and GCSE Science requirements. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
